An aqua green sea glass pendant. Handmade jewellery from Scotland using pale green seaglass. The sea glass has been frosted and worn smooth after decades of tumbling in the Scottish sea! This colour of green is evocatively known as “sea foam”.
The necklace is wire-wrapped with silver-plated wire and features a sweet little Celtic spiral. The sea glass itself is approximately 2cm high.
The necklace comes with a silver-plated snake chain with an extender on it which can be worn between 16-18 inches. It arrives gift-wrapped in a pretty box with a free silver cleaning cloth, making it a perfect present for anyone who loves the sea and its natural treasures! (Item: 3904)

All my jewellery is handmade in Scotland from naturally sea-worn materials. I love to gather these treasures while beach-combing on the beautiful beaches in Anstruther in the East Neuk of Fife as well as the surrounding beaches of St Andrews, Pittenweem, Crail & St Monans. Much of the seaglass dates back to the Victorian era and is known as ‘mermaid tears’. When sailors were lost at sea, the mermaids would cry and their tears would wash up on the shore.
